Additional "a la carte" services
are available @ $45/hr including:
Simple Consult (with elder and/or adult children/caregivers without formal assessment or any written reports or follow-up).
Accompany client to medical visits
Advocacy for client with medical providers/ insurance/pharmacy
Medication oversight, review, reconciliation (looking for duplicate meds, dangerous combinations, untenable side effects, meds no longer indicated) and make recommendations to client/caregiver to assure that medical care is consistent with client's goals of treatment (and if not, how to deal with discrepancies)
Transport and/or accompany client to social, collegial, business, dental, shopping outings, etc.
Grocery shopping/errands/cooking
Sorting mail & preparing bills for payment (by client or DPOA)
Obtain bids for needed home repairs
Assist in finding hands-on or respite care providers (meet, pre-screen, check references, assist with background check) prior to client/family hiring
Review of Health Insurance during open enrollment (to assure necessary medications will be covered by the coming years' formulary)
Long distance travel (in some instances) and/or getting client on airplane at RDU for a direct flight
